TNB shuts down substations in Kelantan, Terengganu

PUTRAJAYA – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) shuts down its electricity supplies involving 94 substations in Kelantan and 228 in Terengganu as of 11am.

The matter was informed by the company through a post on the TNB Carelines Facebook on Monday.

In Kelantan, the closure involved five substations in Kota Bharu, Tanah Merah (eight), Pasir Mas (59), and Pasir Puteh (22).

Meanwhile, Terengganu had 173 substations shut down in Kemaman, Kuala Berang (50) and Setiu (five).

The supply closure would be done at the substations involved to ensure the safety of local users if the situation worsened.

TNB, through a different post informed customers that they could contact them to cut off their electricity supply if water levels at the area continue to rise.
