KUALA LUMPUR - The first parliamentary meeting of the Unity Government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is a historical moment as former enemies Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan are now sitting side-by-side.

Prominently known as the cats and dogs in politics, Umno and DAP are now sitting on the same bloc despite the chants 'No Anwar, No DAP' during the 15th General Election (GE15).

In a Facebook post, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (PH-Muar) shared a photo of himself sitting next to former defence minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (BN-Sembrong).

"My new neighbour in Parliament, the most handsome MP so far," he said referring to the Sembrong MP.

He also posted a 'selfie' of him and Damansara MP Gobind Singh Deo from Pakatan Harapan with a caption indicated that the latter was seated on his right.

"Looking forward to be the voice of all Malaysians for the next five years," he said through his Facebook post today.
