HULU SELANGOR - Police will summon the manager of Father's Organic Farm campsite, Jalan Genting, Batang Kali for further investigations relating to the landslide tragedy.

Hulu Selangor police chief Superintendent Suffian Abdullah said he would summon the individual to record his statement today.

"We will call the manager for follow-up action," he said at a press conference on Saturday.

Yesterday, it was reported that a total of 94 victims were involved in the landslide in the area.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department chief Datuk Norazam Khamis said that the department received a distress call on the incident at 2.24am.

As of 2pm on today, 61 victims were found safe, 23 killed and 10 victims were still reported missing.

Meanwhile, Minister of Housing and Local Government Nga Kor Ming said that three campsites in the area had operated without a license since 2020.

The three sites only have Planning Permission for organic farming activities approved by the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) in 2019.
