HULU SELANGOR - More than 20 teachers and their family members from the Mun Choong National Chinese School (SKJC) were confirmed victims of the landslide that happened at the Father's Organic Farm campsite, Jalan Genting, here on Friday.

SJKC Mun Choong Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) president, U Chin Ong said, according to the information he received so far, several teachers were successfully rescued and had been sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) to receive treatment.

He said, apart from HKL, some teachers were transferred to the Hulu Yam Bharu Police Station to receive treatment from HKL officers.

"There was a female teacher with her baby who both cried while being treated earlier.

"Fortunately they were only slightly injured. I also brought milk supplies for the baby," he said when met at the Hulu Yam Bharu Police Station on Friday.

It was understood that the teacher and her family had come to the camp in conjunction with the school holidays and was planning to return Friday morning.

Checks at the police station found that several officers from the Social Welfare Department (JKM) were carrying basic necessities such as food, clothes, diapers and slippers for the victims temporarily placed at the police station.

Also seen were Malaysian Health Ministry (KKM) officers conducting blood pressure checks in addition to dressing the victims' wounds.
