Fahmi denies banning Ridhuan Tee

PUTRAJAYA - Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil denies that he issued an order to ban famous preacher Ridhuan Tee Abdullah from appearing on television (TV).
He said the programme was not under his jurisdiction.
"No," he said briefly at a press conference after delivering his message at his ministry here, on Friday.
He said such when asked to comment on the claims he was related to the orders that banned Ridhuan's appearance in the Ehwal Islam Perdana Forum.
The position of the Maulidur Rasul and Maal Hijrah figure in the programme that was broadcasted at 9pm on Thursday on the RTM TV channel was replaced by famous preacher Harryanto Rizal Rokman.
