Man fined RM3,100 for throwing urine and black oil at neighbour's house

MELAKA - Forty-one-year-old man who was caught for throwing packets containing urine and black oil at neighbours house, was fined RM3,100 at the magistrate's court here today.

Magistrate Sharda Shienha Mohd imposed the fine on Mohd Nazi Nazaruddin under Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 after the latter admitted to two charges were read against him.

Based on the charges, Mohd Nazi had thrown a package of urine at his neighbours house, 46-year-old Hashish Hassan with the intention to provoke her.

The offense was committed at No 922-1, KM5 Bu kit Baru around 9am on Oct 18. Mohd Nazi was also found to have vandalised his neighbour's property by throwing a container of black oil.

The damage of property was worth RM150 at 11.40am on Dec 7.

This was charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code which could lead to imprisonment up two year or fine, or both.

The accused who was unemployed and was not represented by a lawyer, appealed for a lesser punishment on the grounds that he was in 'right state of mind' when the act were committed.

Hence, Magistrate Sharda had imposed a fine of RM 100 for the offence under Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 or a five-day prison if failed to pay.
