Anwar denies ordering probe into RM600 billion funds

PUTRAJAYA - Prime Ministed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has denied ordering probe on the RM600 billion expenditure without a tender made by the previous government.

He stated the finance ministry will inform on any violation and it would be handed to the authorities for further action.

"We leave it to the authorities to investigate how this incidents of grafts occured" he said during a press conference after the first Cabinet meeting, here, on Monday.

Also present were Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Chief Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali.
