SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 1,502 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours.

Data published by the health ministry showed that with additional three deaths including two brought-in-dead, the total number of deaths in the country is now at 36,713 since the pandemic began.

Currently, there are 22,505 active Covid-19 cases in the country, with 92.8 per cent of patients or 20,889 individuals being quarantined at home.

Out of the total number, 1,512 individuals were hospitalised, with 104 patients admitted in intensive care unit (ICU).

The ministry also recorded 2,093 recoveries.
