SEREMBAN - A Nepalese man has been remanded in custody for seven days to assist with investigations into the deaths of two men found with facial injuries at a shophouse at Oakland Industrial Park on Saturday.

The 37-year-old man will be under remand till Dec 10 to assist with the probe under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Meanwhile, Seremban Police Chief Nanda Maarof said police are still investigating the cause of the incident.

Earlier, Sinar Harian reported two Nepalese men, attached with workers' canteen aged 35 and 46 were found in a supine state with blood-stained faces at the premises.

According to preliminary investigations, police believe the victims were beaten using a puncher and the weapon was also found at the scene.
