Stop slurs, focus on uniting M'sians, uplifting economy, Kedah MB told

ALOR SETAR - Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has been asked to stop political and racial rhetorics and focus to rebuild country's economy and instill harmony within various races in the country.

Sungai Petani MP Dr Taufiq Johari said now is the time for all parties to prioritise stability after the formation of unity government.

"Enough is enough, GE15 is over. The federal government was formed with the approval of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong," he said in a statement today.

On Friday, while delivering a talk on the Kedah Menteri Besar's Tour programme at Taman Mutiara, Kulim, Sanusi, Kedah PN chairman labelled the Cabinet as "unnatural government".

This comes after the appointment of Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as deputy prime minister.

Meanwhile, Taufiq, the PH Kedah Youth Chief described the "unnatural government" slur as offensive to the appointments by the prime minister to form to form a government as outlined by the constitution.
