PM Anwar thanks industries for sufficient supply of eggs.

PUTRAJAYA- Its an egg-cellent situation as the supply of eggs are now abundant.
In a press conference after chairing the 2022 National Action Council on Cost of Living, Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim thanked the industries for providing a sufficient supply of eggs in the market.
According to him, the supply of eggs has returned in abundance over the past few days and will be increased to meet the needs of the people.
"The problem now is the price of goods and the cost of living. I would like to thank the industries, they seem to have provided enough chicken eggs in the market.
"According to my understanding this (supply) will be increased in a short time," he said at a press conference after the meeting on Sunday.
Eggs had been in short supply since October in several areas across the country.
The issue came into focus when people complained that it was difficult to get eggs in supermarkets and grocery stores because of the limited supply.
However, many netizens began to share their joy on social media when they found excess egg supplies in supermarkets since Anwar was appointed as prime minister.
