JDT had earlier clinched the Sultan Ahmad Shah Cup in the season-opener and then the FA Cup, before completing an unprecedented ninth consecutive Malaysian Super League title.
Their victory against 33-time Malaysia Cup winners Selangor last night also gave them their fifth Malaysia Cup after winning the oldest trophy in Malaysian football in 1985, 1991, 2017 and 2019.
Starting as favourites in the final last night, JDT coach Hector Bidoglio lined up his best attacking trio of Bergson Da Silva, Arif Aiman Hanapi and Fernando Forestieri, while Selangor coach Tan Cheng Hoe wasn't short of attacking prowess in the form of Myanmar international Heien Htet Aung and Brazilian Herlison Caion.
Selangor started on the front foot and looked to gain an early lead through Mukhairi Ajmal but the national midfielder's shot whizzed past the JDT goal from close range.
The Red Giants continued to threaten JDT's goal with Caion seeing his 10th minute attempt go just wide of the target.
JDT began to settle down and build their attacks and in the 34th minute Leandro Velazquez's shot was blocked by Selangor defender Sharul Nazeem Zulpakar on the line.
Selangor finally got their reward in the 45th minute when Caion completed a penalty, which was awarded after Matthew Davies brought down the Brazilian in the penalty box.
However, Selangor's lead did not last long when Bergson grabbed an equaliser on the srtroke of half-time in the 47th minute.
Entering the second half, JDT came out attacking from the start.
After a flurry of attacks, JDT finally took the lead through Argentine striker Forestieri, who sent a curling shot from just inside the box past goalkeeper Khairulazhan Khalid in the 58th minute.
Stunned by the goal, Selangor immediately pushed for an equaliser, but the JDT defence held strong until the final whistle.
