No one should feel marginalised, says Anwar

KAJANG - Every Malaysian regardless ethnicity and race should not feel ignored in any way, says newly appointed prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking in his first press conference after appointed as a prime minister, Anwar said that everyone in the nation should not be margalinised.
He said this stressing on the uneasy racial rhetorics during political campaigns in 15th General Election (GE15).
The Tambun MP added the new unity government he leads, will protect Malay rights and the position of Islam as enshrined in the Federal Constitution.
“I want to reiterate the importance of respecting the constitutional language Bahasa Melayu, Islam as the religion of the federation, the privileges of Malaysian bumiputeras and the position of Malay rulers," he said in press conference at Sungai Long Clubhouse.
“Not withstanding Malaysia with more than six decades, where every Malaysian regardless of ethnicity or religion should feel ignored in any way.
“Nome should be marginalised in my administration,” he added.
