Appoint capable, clean ministers, Rasuah Busters tells Anwar
SHAH ALAM - Anti-corruption movement Rasuah Busters wants strong leaders to be appointed in the Cabinet.
They urged the new government to ensure ministers appointed would fulfil five criteria.
The criteria are that they must be capable, a good record of achievement in the relevant field as well as qualifications suitable for the role of the ministry, prioritise the people’s agenda, have integrity and honesty. They must also declare their properties.
Rasuah Busters further encouraged the prime minister to appoint experts and professionals who are not elected as representatives to fulfil the criterias.
They also congratulated Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over his premiership.
“Remember your promise! #RasuahBusters congratulates the establishment of the new government under the leadership of the 10th Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who has the mandate to govern the country for the next five years.
“This is an important time for the manifesto promised in the 15th General Election (GE15) to be implemented," it said in a statement.
