Rafizi advises PKR, PH supporters not to hold gathering

SHAH ALAM - Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president Rafizi Ramli asks supporters and members of the party and Pakatan Harapan (PH) including political allies to respect the urgent need to ease the current situation.

It is after Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah on Thursday agreed to appoint Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who was also PH chairman as the 10th Prime Minister.

Therefore, he who was also the Pandan MP advised any party not to hold any gathering to avoid the risk of provocation and urged political figures to be careful when making media statements.

“Be wary of any content on social media or short messages that may cause concern or be used as an excuse for provocation.

"We all need to move forward and learn to work together to rebuild Malaysia, for the future and prosperity of every citizen from all groups, races, states and backgrounds," he said in a tweet on Thursday.

In the meantime, he said, PKR and PH members needed to abide to the approval of His Majesty who appointed Anwar, who was also the PKR president as the Prime Minister and would lead a unity government.
