Actress Nad Zainal in critical condition
SHAH ALAM – Actress Nad Zainal is in critical condition and is currently being admitted to a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
The news was shared by fellow actor friend Ungku Ismail Aziz who said that the 32-year-old actress was not well since Friday and had difficulties breathing a day after.
“Last Friday, she woke up and felt nauseous and about to faint but she still went to the filming set.
“She went to the clinic during prayer time but the doctor said it was acid reflux so she took her medicine.
“On the polling day on Saturday, we went out to eat and she said her chest felt tight and it was hard for her to breathe,” he said.
Her condition improved after she took the medicine prescribed but on Monday night, the mother of two was rushed to the hospital.
A CT scan revealed there was blood in her lungs. After the lungs were cleared of the fluid, Nad still experienced shortness of breath so the doctors decided to intubate her to allow her to breathe better.
Nad and Ungku are co-stars in the Astro Ria new drama titled Cina Buta.
