IPOH – Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad is the leading the Islam, finance, security, land, natural resources and economic planning in the new BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.

He also held the same portfolio before the state was dissolved to make way for GE15.

The new Perak state line up was announced today.

Saarani further said all the ranks listed are a mix of experience leaders and youths.

Lintang Assemblyman Datuk Mohd Zolkafly Harun holds the Rural Development, Plantation, Agriculture and Food Industry Exco portfolio while Sungai Rapat assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin holds the Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Exco portfolio.

Sungkai assemblyman A Sivanesan holds the Human Resources, Health and Indian Community Affairs Exco post, Jalong Assemblyman Loh Sze Yee is the Tourism, Industry, Investment, Corridor Development Exco and Temengor assemblyman Salbiah Mohamed (Women, Family, Community Welfare and Entrepreneurship Development Exco) were also members of the committee.

The Science, Environment and Green Technologies portfolio is led by Aulong Assemblyman Teh Kok Lim, Teja assemblyman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching (Housing and Local Government Exco and Belanja assemblyman Khairudin Abu Hanipah (Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Exco).

Tualang Sekah assemblyman Mohd Azlan Helmi (Communications, Multimedia and NGO Exco) and Pasir Bedamar assemblyman Woo Kah Leong (Domestic Trade, Cooperatives, Consumer Affairs and Kampung Baru Cina Exco).

Of all the excos appointed, Zolkafly, Mohammad Nizar and Sivanesan each had previously held the position of exco under the previous state government administration while the other seven were newly appointed.

The line-up of 10 excos were formed with the cooperation of BN and PH who agreed to merge to form the state government with BN representing by three Assemblymen, DAP (4), PKR (2) and Amanah (1)

On Tuesday, all of them were sworn in as excos in front of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah at Istana Iskandariah Kuala Kangsar.
