Sultan of Johor confers DMIJ on four individuals

JOHOR BAHRU - The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, today confers the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjung Pangkat Yang Kedua, Datuk Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ) on four individuals in conjunction with his 64th birthday.

Sultan Ibrahim, in a post on his official Facebook page, stated that the DMIJ, which carries the title of Datuk, was conferred on the Malaysian Ambassador to South Korea, Datuk Lim Juay Jin, and the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Wound Care Unit head, Prof Dr Harikrishna K R Nasir.

Other recipients of the DMIJ are Johor Royal Court Council advisor, Datuk Prof Dr Kassim Thukiman, and Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor (KPRJ) chief executive officer (CEO), Datuk Lukman Abu Bakar.

"The investiture ceremony, in conjunction with the Tuanku Sultan's birthday celebration, was held at the Balai Mengadap at Istana Bukit Serene, Johor Bahru. Also present was the Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim,” read the statement.

Tunku Temenggong of Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim; Tunku Panglima of Johor, Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim; Tunku Putera of Johor, Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim; and Datuk Dennis Muhammad Abdullah were also present.

The Sultan of Johor also awarded the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Ketiga, Setia Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SIJ) on nine individuals.

Among the SIJ recipients were Sultan of Johor’s army aide-de-camp (ADC), Colonel Mohd Shawal Arbanyin; police ADC, ASP Mohd Irwan Rasul; and navy ADC, Lt Commander Bakhri Shah Abdullah.

Also receiving the SIJ were YPJ Holdings Sdn Bhd general manager (Property Development), Nor Azleena Abdul Rahman; Invest Johor CEO, Zarina Abdul Kadir; the Johor State Secretary Office’s HR Department secretary, Ahmad Nazir Mohd Nasir; and Johor Public Transport Corporation CEO, Abdul Malik Ismail.

Another two recipients were Johor Religious Department's principal assistant director (Dakwah Division), Mohd Zamri Kambari; and Malaysian Embassy in South Korea's first secretary, Muhammad Haidas Muhammad Sharif Song. - BERNAMA
