KUALA LUMPUR - A few prominent leaders were seen entering and leaving Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin house in the morning today.

Among the leaders spotted were Pas president Abdul Hadi Awang, PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin, and Perak chairman Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

However when approached by reporters all the leaders were tight lipped about the recent developments regarding the formation of the federal government.

Meanwhile, former Alor Gajah MP Datuk Seri Redzuan Md Yusof was seen distributing KFC to reporters who were on standby at the residence since morning.

" We have to wait for the decision from the palace," he told reporters.

At about 3pm Perikatan Nasional election director Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali was also seen leaving Muhyiddin's residence.

Malaysia's parliament has been in limbo for about two days, pending negotiations between political parties leaders On Monday the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had ordered coalition and party leaders to notify Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun of their numbers to form a new government by 2pm, the deadline had been extended to 2pm today.

As of press time no statement has been issued by the Palace.
