World Cup: USA, Wales play out 1-1 draw

Doha - Wales hold the USA to a 1-1 draw in a Group B match of the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium on Monday.

The United States took a 1-0 lead against Wales after Tim Weah scored in the 36th minute. Wales's Gareth Bale leveled the game for his side in the 80th minute.

Earlier Monday, England defeated Iran 6-2 in a Group B match.

England leads the group with three points, followed by USA and Wales with one point each, and Iran in fourth place, Qatar news agency (QNA) reported. - BERNAMA
