" PAS calls on all parties to respect the choice made by the electorate, who had fulfilled their responsibilities and had chosen a government in a peaceful general elections GE-15," he said in his press statement posted on Facebook.
Hadi then urged the public to respect the processes of parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy.
" Malaysia is currently at a crucial stage in the development of its government.
" PAS calls on all parties to defend the dignity of the Constitution, promote the rule of law, and maintain public order," he said.
Hadi stated that public order is crucial to safeguard the interests of the nation and its citizens as a whole, and to maintain economic and political stability.
Currently Malaysia's parliament is still in limbo with both Pakatan Harapan (PH) and PN claiming to possess the numbers to form a federal government. On Monday The Yang di - Pertuan Agong had ordered coalition and party leaders to notify Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun of their numbers to form a new government by 2pm. However the deadline has been extended to 2pm today.
