Any decision by BN must be approved by Supreme Council
ZULHISHAM ISAHAKJOHOR BAHRU - MCA president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong wants any decisions involving Barisan Nasional (BN) to be approved and mandated by the coalition's Supreme Council.
The Ayer Hitam MP said he was not involved in any meetings held between BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH).
Wee said he only attended a meeting with BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur at 10am today.
"I received a notice via WhatsApp from the BN work secretary at 11.23pm yesterday about today's meeting involving only BN MPs.
"A press conference was held after a meeting involving only BN MPs and dozens of journalists.
"I felt aggrieved to see the PH leaders at the meeting when I arrived at the Seri Pacific Hotel," he said in a Facebook post, today.
He said he did not know whether the meeting had been arranged in advance or whether it was a coincidence.
However, the former transport minister said there was no meeting between BN MPs and PH representatives when he was at the Seri Pacific Hotel from 10am to noon.
"I only attended the meeting with the BN chairman and all BN MPs," he added.
