Anwar arrives at BN leadership meeting

KUALA LUMPUR – Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrives at a hotel in the city capital, believed to be for a meeting between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) today.

Anwar, clad in a blue shirt, arrived in a black BMW at about 10.30am.

As he alighted from the car, he joked about how he had forgotten to button his shirt.

When asked to comment about the meeting, Anwar apologised but said he was already late.

“Sorry, sorry, I am already late,” he said.

When asked, “Do you have the numbers?”, Anwar smiled and gave a thumbs-up.

Earlier, many BN leaders had arrived at the hotel compound including president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan and many more.

Based on the official results of the 15th General Election (GE15) there were no party that could create a simple majority of 50 per cent of 219 Parliamentary seats contested to form the government.
