KUALA LUMPUR - The cooperation between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) is expected to be finalised today.

This was after both leaders of the coalitions were said to be having a meeting at a hotel, this morning.

According to a report by Malaysiakini, the meeting will take place at 10am.

The report said that several sources from both parties however declined to divulge the purpose of the meeting.

Yesterday, Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) president Abang Johari said that the party will join hands with Perikatan Nasional (PN), Barisan Nasional (BN) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to form the next federal government.

GPS also confirmed that PN chaiman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was its Prime Minister candidate.

Meawnhile, BN denied claims that it had a discussion with GPS in which both had agreed to form the government with PN.

The 15th General Election (GE15) held on Saturday ended in a hung parliament with no party securing a clear majority to form the new federal government.
