Traffic flow on major highways slow tonight

KUALA LUMPUR - Traffic flow on major highways in the country are reported to be slow as of 10 pm, especially those heading towards the Klang Valley as people return home after casting their votes in the 15th general election (GE15).

A PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman said that traffic was slow-moving for 12 kilometres from Genting Sempah heading to Gombak toll plaza and from Lanchang to Bukit Tinggi, as well as from Simpang Ampat to Port Dickson, and the turnoff into the Seremban Rest and Service area (R&R) and the Nilai turnoff.

As for southbound routes, traffic was reported to be slow-moving in Pendang heading to Sungai Petani, Permatang Pauh to Perai, the Sungai Perak R&R to Menora Tunnel, Ipoh to Simpang Pulai, Gua Tempurung to Sungkai and Tanjung Malim to Rawang.
