MUAR - Former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman casted their votes at the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sri Muar here at about 9.05am this morning.

The Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman and Prime Minister candidate was seen arriving in a black Toyota Alphard at about 8.50am to cast their votes for the Muar parliamentary seat.

Muhyiddin, who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president is the incumbent Pagoh member of parliament, having retained the seat in six consecutive elections.

Having won the Pagoh seat with a 6,927 majority in the 14th general elections in 2018, Muhyiddin faces a three corner battle this time around with Barisan NAsional (BN) putting up former Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim and Pakatan Harapan's Iskandar Shah Abdul Rahman.

Razali is a former three-term Muar member of parliament, who has set his sights on Pagoh, having lost to Pakatan Harapan's Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman in the 14th general elections.
