PUTRAJAYA - The voting process for the N24 Tioman seat in Pahang will take place on Dec 7.

This follows the death of Perikatan National’s candidate Md Yunus Ramli early this morning.

Election Commission Chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh via statement said the nomination day will be held on Nov 24 while early voting will be on Dec 3.

The campaign period has been set for 13 days starting from nomination day - Nov 24 until 11.59pm on Dec 6.

Abdul Ghani said postal voting will begin on Nov 19 until Nov 22.

He said postal voting application for category 1A (EC volunteers, EC officers and personnel, police personnel, military personnel and members of the media) must be done manually using the 1A Form.

He added that the 1A Form can be downladed from EC's official website and submit it to the Rompin Managing Officer.

Abdul Ghani said for overseas voters under category 1B (Malaysian citzen living overseas) and category 1C agency/organisation will be implemented online.
