PUTRAJAYA - For Covid-19 positive voters in Putrajaya, a special tent has been set up for these voters to declare their status to make it easier for the representatives to assist them in a quicker voting process.

The tent was seen at Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 9(1), here.

So far, no covid positive voters have arrived yet at the polling station but the health officers said several covid patients already informed the authorities that they would be present even a few days in advance.

The station was equipped with hand sanitisers and extra mask for voters who came without wearing mask.

Meanwhile in Ampang, the first Covid-19 positive voters arrived at the polling station and she was escorted to her voting channel by the Health Ministry officers to allow her to exercise her rights to vote.

Fatin Atiqa Abd Jalil, 31 said she was tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday but she could not disregard her duty to the nation.

“I am in good health, it is just that I am positive (for Covid-19).”

When asked about citizens who do not plan to come down and vote, she said that if they do not come down and vote due to unavoidable reasons, that is fine.
