Cruel man beats and steps on wife in front of a child
SHAH ALAM - A heartless man was seen beating a woman believed to be his wife without any mercy in front of a child.
The incident went viral after a one minute seven second video showed the woman being dragged, beaten and repeatedly stepped on by the man.
In the video, the man who was only wearing white shorts was seen pulling the woman's hair and dragging her across the floor.
The cruel act was seen by a child who was crying.
The caption on the post claimed that the man was the former husband to a local singer and the woman was his new wife.
However, the location of the scene was not able to be determined.
Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan confirmed that he received reports of the incident.
"I can confirm the incident and that investigation papers have been opened for further investigations," he said.
