Youths in Segambut hope for better transportation development in the area

SEGAMBUT - Youths in Segambut are demanding a better transportation system to help reduce congestion in the constituency They are hoping this can be achieved after the 15th General Election ( GE 15).

For salesman Farhan Rosni, 22, he hopes that the next ruling government will make the roads bigger as well as focus on making public transportation more accessible.

“The problem that I can see in the area is that the roads here are narrow and it is crowded as there are many cars.

“I want them to improve it by making the roads bigger so that there will be more space for us to go through as well as to have a better transportation system,” he told Sinar Daily Farhan added that he is ready to vote on Nov 19 and is looking forward to a government that has better governance. Marketing salesman Saiful Azhar Mohd Nor 24, said he hoped that the next government will also look into creating more parking lots to help with congestion in the area.

Saiful said he had high hopes that the next elected Prime Minister will take his responsibilities seriously after being given the mandate by the people.

" For the sake of the country, I hope that we will get the right person (to lead the country), someone that is able to improve the economy of the country,” he said.

Meanwhile stall owner Siti Nur Amirah 19, said she wished to see a better Malaysia after the election.

“I am ready to vote and I hope that the newly elected government will be better than the one before,” she told Sinar Daily.
