MACC present at Invoke office to collect documents

MACC collected documents from Invoke Sdn Bhd for review, following a report by an NGO on Rafizi's assets.
This was following a report submitted by a non-governmental organisation last week on assets worth RM18.85 million belonging to Rafizi.
Its investigation division senior director Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hashim said
several officers had gone to the company's office around 11.30am to collect documents related to the investigation.
He said this was a normal procedure when an investigation is being conducted.
"All documents were taken for review, following a report submitted by an NGO on Rafizi's assets.
"However, no statements from any individual was taken, instead only information was obtained regarding the document in question," he said on Wednesday.
He said further action will be taken depending on the documents examined. On Tuesday, Rafizi claimed his company was raided by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) while he delivering a speech at the 'Mega Ayuh Malaysia, Kita Boleh' event in Wangsa Maju.
A miffed Rafizi then went on to question MACC's motives and claimed that he had exposed several scandals like the littoral combat ship (LCS) project and the flood mitigation project worth RM2bil along with evidence, but the matter was not being investigated.
