GE15: Nizar uses remote-controlled vehicles for his campaign
MUHAMMAD AMINNURALIFFPEKAN - Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Peramu Jaya state seat Datuk Mohd Nizar Najib uses two remote-controlled vehicles for his campaign in the 15th General Election (GE15).
The son of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the vehicles he received from his friends were used for his campaign as it was equipped with screens which could display videos of activities during the campaign.
He said the vehicles were also suitable to be used in open areas such as the farmer's market and night market due to the big space.
"This is the first time I used this vehicle to campaign at Pasar Tani Peramu on Monday. Many were excited to see the vehicles which were unique.
"The vehicles are equipped with screens and speakers that became an attraction for visitors. Thus, I hope that they could get to know me and vote for me in GE15 this Saturday," he said.
Asked regarding the response he received after a week of campaigning, Nizar said the public accepted his presence as the leader of the Peramu Jaya State Legislative Assembly.
He added that some voters guaranteed that they would vote for BN in Pekan and the state seat under the constituency.
"I hope to celebrate my victory in GE15 and it would be even better if I win with a large majority and this will also be a meaningful gift for my father (Najib) who had given a lot of support.
"I felt sad when many Pekan voters said they missed my father and that when they saw me it reminded them of him,” he said promising to provide the people with the best services if he was chosen as the people’s representative in Peramu Jaya.
