GE15: Early voting runs smoothly, police pensioners among early voters at IPKKL

KUALA LUMPUR: The early voting process for the 15th General Election (GE15) in Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent (IPKKL) headquarters saw police pensioners among the early voters here, today.

City police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said that a small number police pensioners had yet to change their voting address and had come and voted at IPKKL.

He said that over 19,457 people registered early voters at 24 polling centers and 1,464 voters were eligible to vote at the premises.

As of 1pm, he said 46 per cent of the police personnel have completed their voting.

"I hope, until 5pm today, we can complete the voting process of all registered voters," he said, adding that voting process went smoothly without any problems.
