JOHOR BAHRU - Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak wants the BN machinery to work hard to ensure victory for the coalition in the 15th General Election (GE15) on Nov 19.

His daughter, Nooryana Najwa said her father cared enough about the party even though he was serving time in prison.

"Yesterday, I had time to chat with him (Najib) for less than a minute. But the first question he asked me was how is BN doing, how is the machinery.

"He is very worried and concerned about matters related to GE15 because he wants to see BN succeed," she said when met after helping BN candidate for Pulai Parliament Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed campaign in Kempas, on Tuesday.

When asked about the BN’s campaign so far, Nooryana said it was as if something was missing when her father was not campaigning.

“Many in Johor saw Najib’s “Bossku” aura during the Johor state election last March. From there, it could be seen that my father was able to attract people during the state election campaign.

"However, this time it may be a little sad because my father could not be with the machinery. But we will not stop, that his message. We are here to continue for the benefit of the party and the people, this is the principle that I will uphold during this campaign.
