KUALA LUMPUR – Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said they have received over 110 police reports regarding vandalism incidents as well as complaints on several other issues related to the 15th General Election campaigns.

“As of yesterday (Nov 14), we have received over 110 police reports regarding various complaints and we also have opened nine investigation papers.

"Thus, we advise all parties to celebrate the practice of democracy in the election this time in a patriotic and prudent manner and continue to obey the laws," he told reporters at Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) here today.

Azmi said this after he visited the early voting centre at the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) here today.

The investigation papers were opened under Section 427 of the Penal Code, 506 of the Penal Code and also Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 as well as the Election Offenses Act 1954.
