GOMBAK – Gombak Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali says the number of new voters in the constituency is high compared to the last election.

The PN information chief said there were more than 10,000 young voters in Gombak area who would likely come out and vote in 15th General Election (GE15).

"The additional voters in Gombak is big, we have 70,000 new voters including those in the age range from 18 to 21.

"We also have about 12,000 young voters and the rest are first-time voters.

"So the challenge is for me to continually engage and reach out to those new voters," he told reporters when met at PN Best campaign in Taman Keramat.

Commenting further, Azmin Ali said he intended to make Gombak a liveable city.

"With my presence in Gombak, I’ll give my best to serve the best, not only in development and infrastructure but I want to make Gombak a liveable city.

"In terms of youngsters, I'll create more job opportunities as it is crucial for them to ensure a good future," he said.
