GE15: Ismail Sabri announces Friday, Saturday as public holidays

PUTRAJAYA- Friday (Nov18) and Saturday ( Nov 19) have been declared as public holidays to encourage the people to carry out their voting responsibilities.
In an announcement today, caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob also said that the government had agreed to start the salary payment date for civil servants on Nov 17 while pension payments have started today.
" To encourage more voters to return to vote, the government would like to inform that 30 highway concessions have agreed to offer free toll rates for two days to consumers in conjunction with the 15th General Election (GE15)," he said.
