Bad weather will hit several states until 6pm, says MetMalaysia
SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issues a thunderstorm and heavy rain warning on several states in Peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak today.
The warning was issued until 6 pm.
MetMalaysia in a statement said the states involved are Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang and Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang Dan Selama, Hulu Perak, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak).
Meanwhile, the issue was also directed to east coast states which were Kelantan (Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang and Kuala Krai) and Besut in Terengganu.
In Selangor, districts that would be affected are Sabak Bernam, Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat and Sepang.
Moreover, Putrajaya and districts in Negeri Sembilan, which were Seremban and Port Dickson were also reminded of the bad weather.
As for Borneo side, Labuan, Sarawak (Kapit (Kapit and Belaga), Bintulu, Miri (Beluru and Marudi) and Limbang) and Sabah at Pedalaman (Sipitang, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu and Tambunan), Pantai Barat, Sandakan (Tongod, Kinabatangan and Beluran) and Kudat also will be affected by the heavy rain.
