Number of flood victims in three states on the rise - Nadma

SHAH ALAM - The number of flood victims nationwide has now increased to 796 people, involving the states of Selangor, Johor and Kelantan.

In a statement on its Facebook page, The National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) stated that Selangor recorded the highest number of victims being evacuated - a total of 695 people.

To date, a total of 163 families in Klang have been placed in three temporary evacuation centers (PPS), namely Al-Falah Kampung Budiman Mosque, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Johan Setia and SK Sungai Binjai.

In Kelantan, a total of 44 victims from 10 families have been placed in two PPS, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan Tok Deh, Pasir Mas and SK Kelewek, Tanah Merah.

Meanwhile in Segamat, Johor, 57 victims from 18 families have been placed in three PPS, namely Kampung Batu Badak Town Hall, Kampung Kuala Paya Town Hall and Tasek Community Hall.
