SHAH ALAM - Controversial blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin claims that Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has an extramarital affair with a married woman.

In a video posted on his official YouTube page recently, Raja Petra had also said that Zahid wanted to sue him over his allegations about the Barisan Nasional (BN) Bagan Datuk candidate’s involvement in the littoral combat ships (LCS) scandals which he had talked about earlier.

“If you want to sue me, make sure it’s worth it. You can sue me on this claim too.

“Zahid has an extramarital affair with a married woman working at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur,” he alleged.

Raja Petra had also mentioned the woman’s name several times before he challenged Zahid to proceed with legal actions over the LCS claim as well as the allegation made over Zahid’s affair.

The video titled “GE15 for Zahid’s benefit, not Malaysians” was posted on the video sharing platform on Nov 6.

It was reported that Zahid had threatened to file a defamation suit against Raja Petra after he accused him of receiving millions of ringgits in connection with the LCS project which had been delayed for several years and is yet to be completed.

For the record, Section 498 of the Malaysia’s Penal Code refers to the offence of enticing a married woman with intent to have illicit intercourse.
