WUIF invites people to participate in the World #QuranConvention 3.0

SHAH ALAM - Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF) invites people to join the World #QuranConvention 3.0 programme entitled “Mengatasi Cabaran: Penyelesaian Daripada Surah al-Sajdah” (Overcoming Challenges: Solution from Surah al-Sajdah) at Dewan Perdana Miti, Kuala Lumpur on Dec 3.

WUIF chief executive officer Marhaini Yusoff said the World #QuranConvention was the last major programme of the year and it carried the mission of Surah al-Sajdah aiming to provide solutions in facing the various challenges of life.

"There are four challenges now which are financial, career, family and social or spiritual (development) that needed to be overcome with the help of Allah based on the Quran and sunnah.

"With predictions of the economic storm and natural disasters next year, it could bring various problems towards individuals, families and the people," she said.

She said it was hoped that the convention would help the people in adopting the formula from Allah SWT which is the Quran as the solution in overcoming the challenges.

"At the same time, with the 15th General Election (GE15) approaching, the World #QuranConvention hopes to give strength to people to build a country with a new leadership.

"This convention would become the platform for enlightenment and resolutions that would be detailed by well-known speakers who are experts in the study of the Quran.

"The speakers and reciters come from six countries which are Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Palestine, Egypt and United States," she said.

Among the speakers invited were global syariah advisor Tan Sri Dr Mohd DAud Bakar, Nexchange Berhad Trading Group managing director Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Bayyinah Al-Quran and Arabic Studies Institute founder Nouman Ali Khan, Bangladesh religious figure Shaykh Mizanur Rahman Azhari and WUIF chief research officer Fazrul Ismail.

The one-day convention would be handled by TickTalk TV as the joint project manager with Wuif, in collaboration with Miti, Puspanita Miti Branch, Sinar Harian, TV AlHijrah, Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) and Rumah Ngaji.

Marhaini said surah al-Sajdah would be the theme of #QuranHour this year stressing on the prostrating formula as a solution to life.

It had become the closing programme this year before launching surah al-Insan as the #QuranHour surah theme for 2023.

A total of 1,300 participants were targeted to participate in the programme with a fee of as low as RM50 per person.

The World #QuranConvention was among the main programme each year that was funded by the Al-Quran Movement Fund under WUIF in an effort to carry out the mission of Quranising the nation, encouraging the ummah. The waqf included cash, professionalism, copies of the Quran and assets.

WUIF welcomed any party that wanted to collaborate and sponsor the organisation of the World #QuranConvention through the values ​​of the Quran.
