KUALA LANGAT - The Perikatan Nasional leaders are on the roll as they continue to take swipes at other political parties at Pentas Perikatan Nasional Kuala Langat, here, tonight.

Wanita Perikatan Nasional (PN) chief Datuk Seri Rina Harun reminisced about her time as Cabinet Minister during the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration.

“I still remember when PH formed the government in 2018, they were unfriendly with the civil servants and the people’s aids were abolished.

“Not only that, but also allegations on abolishing Kemas (Community Development Department) but I fought against it.

“It was not because of grudges or revenge but because there were children and Kemas staff who came from Malay-Muslim families,” she said.

Rina, who is the Titwangsa incumbent MP, is now contesting in Sepang for GE15.

She also highlighted that some Sepang constituents came to her for aid and help, despite not being the Sepang MP.

Rina said she moved to contesting Sepang because it was her hometown.

Meanwhile, PN Election Director Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali stated that all election campaign manifestos appeared to be similar.

This, however, won’t be a let down for PN as he was confident voters were able to observe and decide on the best decision for their future.

“They talked about being clean and about reformation but just looked at the candidates representing by these parties.

“Some of them are going back and forth to the courts for corruption cases and abuse of power.

“Yet not single bit of shame during nomination day,” he said.

He questioned the commitment of the latter parties to form a clean government to the people.

Both Azmin and Rina spoke at the event in Banting. Also present was Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang and PN Kuala Langat candidate Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi.
