GOMBAK - Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said he is ready to provide more bus facilities for the people who are affected by the recent Light Rail Transit system (LRT) disruption.

He said he already contacted RapidKL regarding the issue to see if they were in dire need to use more buses.

"Let me get the real report as to what happened to the LRT, for me, the priority is to solve the problem.

"We already contacted RapidKL, hopefully, they can accept the 20 busses and if they need more we try to organise to help," he said when met at Senior Citizen Centre here, tonight.

He said this would help the people in Selangor who faced trouble commuting on a daily basis due to the service interruptions.

Amiruddin said the caretaker Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong may not be able to attend to the need of the people due to him not being a full-time minister, but instead a caretaker at the time being.

The total number of intermediate buses to over 120 was provided accommodate passengers on five lines of LRT Line 1: Ara Damansara Station – Pasar Seni Station, LRT Line 2: Ara Damansara Station – Kelana Jaya Station, LRT Line 3: Kelana Jaya Station – Pasar Seni Station, LRT Line 4: Pasar Seni Station – Masjid Jamek Station and LRT Line 5: Masjid Jamek Station – Dato' Keramat Station.
