GE15: 'Anwar knows more about the rakyat's suffering' - Wan Azizah

PUTRAJAYA - Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail says her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim knows more about the people's suffering.

She said the Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman has gone through it with his 10-year imprisonment.

"People say Anwar is crazy about becoming the Prime Minister.

"You must remember, he spent 10 years in prison. He knows about the suffering of the people, and we went through it," she said in a speech during an event with the Anggerik Wanita Association, here, on Wednesday.

PH named Anwar as the 10th Prime Minister candidate if the coalition won in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Azizah in her speech also invited the people to choose PH on the polling day.

"This is our country, we want our country to be governed well. So, vote for PH," she said.

Asked regarding the declaration of assets, Azizah who was the Bandar Tun Razak PH parliamentary candidate said she had done it.

"It is done," she replied briefly.
