SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) has given assurance to evaluate Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal in a targeted manner if the coalition succeeds in forming a government after the 15th General Election (GE15).

Its chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said withdrawals will be assessed based on EPF savings. "Recently I released a video through Tiktok and one of the things that came up was asking me to allow the EPF withdrawals again.

"God willing, when we win (GE15) one of the things we will look at again is (withdrawal of) targeted EPF," he said during the PN manifesto launch tonight.

Previously, the government had allowed i-Sinar and i-Lestari to withdraw EPF savings to cope with job lost after Covid lockdowns.
