PUTRAJAYA - Putrajaya Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate says she is not going against incumbent the city’s incumbent MP Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor but contesting for the people instead.

Dr Noraishah Mydin Abdul Aziz said she did not feel like she was going against anyone in the parliamentary seat.

“If you read all of my tweets on social media, I am not even going to say anything about them (other candidates) really because I’m not here for them.

“They’re not really in my mind space, my mind space is for the people of Malaysia.

“My mindspace is about the weakest, the most disenfranchised, the people who never had a voice in this country,” Noraishah said during the 15th General Election (GE15) campaign at MyFarm Putrajaya earlier today.

During her walkabout at MyFarm, several PH volunteers accompanied her to show their support for her.

The supporters claimed that 70 per cent of Putrajaya citizens encouraged Noraishah to contest in the constituency but they had no information about her hence this was why it was important for Noraishah to make her presence known.

Yesterday, the Putrajaya parliamentary seat recorded the highest number of candidates for the GE15 where it would witness a six-cornered fight between Barisan Nasional (BN), Perikatan Nasional (PN), PH and Gabungan Tanah Air (GTA) - who will be contesting under the Pejuang ticket, as well as two independent candidates.
