GUA MUSANG - Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, who is the longest-serving Member of Parliament (MP) from Barisan Nasional (BN), will contest for the 13th time to defend his Gua Musang parliamentary seat in the 15th general election (GE15).

Tengku Razaleigh, who is better known as Ku Li, said his services are still needed in Gua Musang, especially by the Orang Asli community who still want him to contest.

"In GE15, I will face three opposition candidates from Pas, Pejuang and PKR but I am not afraid and am ready to take them on and defend the Gua Musang parliamentary seat.

"I pledge to continue ensuring the welfare of the people and the development of this constituency,” said the 85-year-old when met by reporters here today.

Earlier, Tengku Razaleigh, accompanied by over 2,000 BN supporters, including the Orang Asli community, arrived at the nomination centre at the Gua Musang District and Land Office.
