BAGAN DATUK - The Bagan Datuk parliamentary seat is expected to heat up with a four-cornered fight when all candidates submit their respective nomination forms at the nomination centre at Sekolah Menengah Sains Bagan Datuk, here.
Besides the seat's incumbent BN's Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, also submitting their forms as candidates were PH's Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin and PN's Nik Muhammad Faiz Na'aman.
Previously, it was announced that the son of former deputy prime minister during Tun Abdul Razak's time, Mohamed Tawfik Tun Dr Ismail who was also Benut MP also contested on the independent ticket.
This was announced by the P075 Bagan Datuk Election Commission (EC) returning officer, Ahmad Ghopran Yeop Hamzah.
