GE15: Seven-cornered fight in Sungai Buloh

SUNGAI BULOH - The Sungai Buloh Parliament will witness a seven-cornered contest after seven candidates were seen entering the Sungai Buloh P107 candidate nomination centre at Dewan Kenanga, District Office and Petaling Land, here, this morning.

All the candidates were seen with proposers and seconders entered the nomination centre and waved to their supporters,

The five candidates who were present were candidates from the parties namely Barisan Nasional (BN), Pakatan Harapan (PH), Perikatan Nasional (PN), Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) and Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM), while the remaining three were independent candidates.

As of 9.20am, four candidates from GTA Mohd Akmal Mohd Yusof, PN Mohd. Ghazali Md Hamin, PH Datuk R. Ramanan and BN Khairy Jamaluddin entered the hall with their proposers and seconders.

During GE14, the Sungai Buloh parliament saw Sivarasa won 43,631 votes which beat Nuridah from Pas who got 16,977 votes, A. Prakash Rao represented BN (16,681) and Zainurizzaman Moharam from PSM (642).
