GE15: Shah Alam candidates start submitting nomination forms 

SHAH ALAM - Candidates from political parties start to submit their nomination forms for the 15th General Election (GE15) between 9am and 10am, here at Shah Alam nomination centre in Section 19, here.

Ahead of the nomination activities, supporters started to gather near the centre early in the morning to show their support to the candidates from all sides of the political parties.

At the area, police and authorities stood guard to ensure that the situation was under control and to conduct crowd control.

Supporters from political parties, namely from Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional, Pejuang and Perikatan Nasional were seen at the centre’s compound and they could be heard chanting their support for their respective candidates.

In Shah Alam parliamentary seats, Pakatan Harapan candidate Azli Yusof arrived at about 8.20am earlier. He was expected to contest against Umno supreme council member Isham Jalil.

Despite many supporters gathered within the same perimeter, there were no clashes or fights that broke out at the centre as of 9.30am.
